Technical Challenges and Solutions
LED chip inspection requires identifying microscopic defects at the micrometer scale while maintaining throughput of tens of thousands of chips per hour. Traditional metal bases are prone to resonance during rapid start/stop cycles and exhibit high thermal expansion coefficients, leading to accuracy drift during prolonged operation. Addressing this challenge, BOSTAR provided a customized artificial granite platform. This material possesses an exceptionally high internal damping ratio, effectively absorbing micro-vibrations generated by high-speed linear motor motion. Its thermal stability exceeds that of cast iron by over 30 times, delivering a “zero-deformation” foundation for optical inspection systems.
Integrated with Bozhida's proprietary high-thrust linear motor modules, this design enables direct drive, eliminating mechanical backlash. The optimized finite element analysis of the marble platform and linear motor integration ensures geometric precision during high-speed scanning. This combination not only resolves vibration issues from rapid motion but also significantly reduces operational noise, aligning with Sanan Optoelectronics' green factory environmental standards.

During Sanan Optoelectronics' production line acceptance testing, the Bozhida solution demonstrated exceptional performance. Data indicates that after 48 hours of continuous operation, the platform maintained flatness stability within 0.008mm/m². The linear motor module achieved scanning speeds up to 3m/s, with repeat positioning accuracy consistently at ±0.3μm, meeting defect detection requirements for post-mass transfer Mini LED production. Regarding vibration suppression, the platform elevated external interference vibration attenuation to 90%, ensuring clear imaging from the alignment camera during high-speed capture. Feedback data indicates that inspection equipment utilizing the Bozhida base solution achieved a 20% reduction in false detection rates and a 12% increase in Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE). Thanks to the base's exceptional stability, equipment calibration cycles extended from weekly to monthly, significantly reducing downtime for maintenance.
